Where do they come from?

House centipedes are common in the United States and Canada. They are most often found near damp areas or other sources of moisture. House centipedes can also be brought into your home on food or garbage.

How to keep them out

The best way to get rid of house centipedes is to eliminate their food sources by thoroughly cleaning your kitchen and bathroom. You can also use commercial fly traps or bait. If you have a severe infestation, you may need to call a professional exterminator.
